I am a poet residing in Roslindale, MA. My first full-length book of poems, Old Business (Golias Books, 2019) collected several chapbooks (Story One, The Meritocrat, The Last Shyness) written between 2014 and 2018, along with a then fresh batch of poems. My most recent poetry collection is Reagent, a sequence of couplets (or distichs) out from Philadelphia-based, Hiding Press.

I am also an occasional critic and have written articles on contemporary lyric poetry, J.H. Prynne, and Ezra Pound. I hold a Ph.D. in English from the University of Cambridge, where I wrote The Difficult Style: A Study of the Poetry of J.H. Prynne. Some of that work can be found here. The University of New Mexico Press published my edition of The Collected Letters of Charles Olson and J.H. Prynne. Recently, I have been co-editing the Collected Prose of J.H. Prynne (forthcoming, Oxford University Press) alongside Keston Sutherland.

Note: This website focuses on my poetic work. Find me on LinkedIn for occupational inquiries (i.e. what I get paid to do).
