I am a poet and editor currently residing in Boston, MA. Over the last 15 years, I have published 10 chapbooks, 2 full-length books of poems, and a handful of reviews and articles. Old Business (Golias Books, 2019) collected several chapbooks (Story One, The Meritocrat, The Last Shyness) written between 2014 and 2018, along with a then fresh batch of poems. My most recent poetry collection is Gargoyle, a sequence of couplets (or distichs) out from my own imprint, Floaters Press.

I am also an occasional critic and have written articles on contemporary lyric poetry, J.H. Prynne, and Ezra Pound. I hold a Ph.D. in English from the University of Cambridge, where I wrote The Difficult Style: A Study of the Poetry of J.H. Prynne. Some of that work can be found here. The University of New Mexico Press published my edition of The Collected Letters of Charles Olson and J.H. Prynne. Recently, I have been co-editing the Collected Prose of J.H. Prynne (forthcoming, Oxford University Press) alongside Keston Sutherland.

Recently, I co-founded a small poetry press called Eternal Sections with my friend Jason Mitchell. We have published John Coletti’s Attachment Simply and a compilation, Issue 1. You can learn more about our press here: eternalsections.org.

Note: This website focuses on my poetic work. Find me on LinkedIn for occupational inquiries.
